How does this crap work?

Clearly no one is going to pay the $89,000,100.00 that the bidding is currently at but if the sale goes though (in terms of e-bay it just needs to reach the end date.....they do not care if you get paid or not) the seller gets charged a percentage of the final price wether he gets paid or not (I think).

Is this right or am I missing somthing?

Liokault, it is illegal what the guy is doing, and once Ebay finds out, they will delete it. They get alot of weird stuff on there, people trying to sell there wife, husband, brothers, sisters, kids, parents, etc. Even themselves on occasion, and Ebay catches these and deletes them. I could place a bid on there for $10 billion and not have to pay a penty if it actually lasts 5 more days, because its illegal to sell something that is not yours. Especially government property.
