That's messed up. My guess is his training was not conducive to combat efficiency. Was he working forms, or was he doing live drills and sparring?

Angband has a very long history. It started 1990 as an improved and "Tolkienized" variant of Moria. Moria itself was created in 1985 and was inspired by Rogue (let's blame the old guy) (from the late 70s). Countless changes were introduced by many programmers on the way to the current versions of Angband.

I knew there was something more to a guy who like to drink beer at an Arby's.;)

Drinking beer at Arby's? Now you've got me baffled again.

#1 - I've never heard of an Arby's where they serve beer.

#2 - I can scarcely imagine eating at Arby's on purpose.

which brings me to

#3 - I suppose if you were really drunk you might not care if you were eating at Arby's.

come east my young Padowan (sp?)

I am but a shodow to rogue's greatness but together he and I will show you the awesomeness that is Arby's with beer.

Homer: We played Dungeons and Dragons for six hours...then I was slain by an elf!

I'm not eating elf anymore until the mad-elf scare goes away. I mean, sure it's delicious and usually perfectly healthy, but who wants to risk disease?

In the meantime, elfhide makes the softest, most luxurious boots, gloves and jackets, so we may as well destroy the remaining infected elf livestock just to be on the safe side and use their skins.

On the other hand, I know an all natural elf rancher who makes delicious elf-jerky, and who's herd is certain to be safe.

Mmm...elf.

And I bet you've never heard of an Arby's that serves tasty big ass burritos, roast chicken, Pad Thai (though it's just so-so) and you can drink and eat while sitting by the working fireplace or by the fullsize totem pole. Austin must be such a barbaric place to dwell.:p

Well, we can get drunk at the movies (http://www.drafthouse.com), so that's some consolation. Heck, they've even been known to bring in Jim Kelly to introduce "Black Belt Jones" at a showing where a ticket entitles you to a 40 dawg of Schlitz Malt Liquor!

and on Wednesday nights they show kung fu flicks for free.

I won't knock Austin, though. I had a blast the one time I was there.

he drank entirely too much and hopped on the short bus... Next thing he knew, he was standing around in his boxers, talking to oven mitt.
