Has anyone seen the older video on lion dancing produced by Leung Ting with Sifu Lam Wai Kwong? Is it good reference material? A friend & I were talking, he's looking for reference material. Ideas? Comments?

IMO it is a very good, informative video. Though I only have seen the first one and not the second. The video demonstrates step by step the beginning the middle and the ending of a lion dance routine. The music, demonstrated and easy to follow. Some insights which are shown besides the usual High walk, Low walk, 7 star, is eating the green. It is worth having in your collection if you are a Traditional Lion Dance practitioner.
As for the second they do show some clips in the first video.

It is good...but stepping patterns and music are specific to the Hok San Lion. If you do Fut Shan...some of the stepping patterns and music could not be used.

It is only one video. I think Wing Lam Enterprises carries it.
