Im interested in Praying Mantis. So could you give me an in depth discription of it?

what branch r u thinking of joining? seven star mantis, hong kong mantis, eight step mantis, plum flower mantis, tai chi mantis?

well from my limited knowledge:
seven star is a derivative of northern mantis.
hong kong is a derivative of seven star - it has some southern
influences. IE lower stances
tai chi is more soft and depend on feeling the opponet's strength
and then use it against them
eight step is southern
I don't know any thing on plum flower

If I am wrong please correct me or feel free to add anything. I have only been doing HK mantis for a year so i am still very new.
