kung pu is a shortened term for monkey style. ;)

edit: doesn't count dante look a little like ming the merciless in his younger years?

He looks like a fruit cake to me. lol, "Deadliest Man Alive". Sure. I think that's the easiest way to tell it's BS. When they start naming themselves that. Let's put him up against Pan Qing Fu and see how long it takes form him to wet his pants and say it's a secret Kung Pu Qi Gong technique. lol
