OMG how'd he do that?!

Here it is (http://www.stupidvideos.com/?VideoID=715). It's short. It loads and plays on the webpage. You can select "Medium" quality and change size from the box at the bottom to improve the quality.

Man that is one impressive stunt! The height is huge even for a normal jump, and he backflips it ... !! I think the guy is from the Yamakaze (spell?) group, a french "street-gymnastics" crew who have put a film out in France (they are huge there). Absolute insanity, they jump and flip from rooftops, railings, across streets, off bridges...you name it.

That was David Belle. He's a French guy trying to get this extreme sport he started to catch on. The website is:

This is a sample page:

Speed-Air Man is a sick video (need real player)

On Avance toujours... Et Vous? is also a sick video.

These guys are absolutely nuts, and make you rethink what your body is actually capable of. Dude clears like 25 feet of space jumping building to building 10 stories up. HUGE BALLS!

Wall is thinking of the same group I linked to. They are huge in Cheese land. I'm a fan.

In Thailand, Laos, and surrounding areas they don't have much of the technology for alot of stunts so they have to do them themselves including jumping out or off the top of buildings. The stuntment do the exact same stunt that the guy on the video did all the time. I've gotta agree that it is nothing short of incredible.

Le Parkour is awesome! They did some commercials a while back, David Belle, and he did some incredible stuff on the commerical. His home made wall is cool too!

i dont want to take anything away from the man, but im guessing the first video is good photography.

im guessing the wall at 12 feet or so.

that is still hella impresive.

Well, I wasn't there, so I can't be positive, but I am a professional motion picture cinematographer - as in studio movies and such, so I know a thing or two about optics. That wall looks to be much higher than 12 feet. While it is a wide angle lens, the height of the jumper and the witness at the end of the clip when they are standing close to the wall shows the ratio. I am assuming they are average height guys (5'9" - 6'), and that wall is far taller than twice their height.

That is an impressive stunt.

They could have taken him doing that flip off of like a balance beam or something and then cut and pasted it frame by frame onto the footage of that tall building.

The clip looks real in my opinion.

It's impressive, not impossible, and definatly not improbable considering it was David Belle.

My Vote =

Thank you Ironfist,

When I saw the opening sequence of The Matrix, I felt that we, as humans, were not far off from that capability-- the jumping from building to building part and the running on walls part.

The jumps from high points do remind me of the legends of ninja.

Great Stuff!!
