I'll only accept your interpretation if you show me the the definition in a dictionary or other reputable source! The authenticity of which must be verified by a panel of our peers. Blah, blah blah and so on....:o

:mad: means I'm fierce!!!!! Grr, I eat children!

For my school, this salute means we are covering our weapon(fist) with our shield(palm), so we are telling our brothers and sisters in our art that we are greeting them in friendship and not anger or agression.
