We had all seen this guy before - he's the groundskeeper. He rolls around the complex in a golf cart picking up, supervising other grounds activities, etc. Anyway, he comes into the gym, see the group bench pressing and says "I'm catching up to ya" He then asks if he can work in. He does. And benches 275. Not a huge deal...except for the fact that this man is 68. I hope I'm that strong when I'm 68!

Right on..

I wish I could do that at 25..

I'm starting to work my chest out again... (need to get rid of my minor case of man boobs).

Bro, didn't you make a thread once about how it p.issed you off when people in the gym talk about how much they "used to be able" to bench?

:D

Is this the powerlifting/bosybuilding equivalent to:

"And then one night while practice his sword in the courtyard and old man dressed rather shabbily came through the doorway and . . . "

:D

he's vegetarian.Cmon then ya f:ckers...! Where're all you punks who line up to deride vegetarians every time there's one of these threads now then?

Of course, I've always believed there are as many kinds of digestive system as there are fingerprints (well, divided by 10!) so it doesn't really prove anything... but still...

Vegetarian = more meat for me.

My biggest problem with vegetarians is cooking for them- stock is ok, stock isn't ok, lacto-ovo-pesco vegetarians, lacto-ovo vegetarians, vegans, macrobiotics, kosher macrobiotic vegans, raw foodies. It gets really old, really fast. Cooking vegan is like trying to do calligraphy with mittens on- possible, but frustrating if you don't do it regularly.
