Thanks everyone. Yes Rad I passed. I actually threw my back out the day before during the physical requirement portion of the test. I slept on an ice pack, put some "A" medicine on it, and let the adreniline get me through the test.

and yea I was in Iraq and Kuwait for a period of about 3 weeks. Got the full tour of Iraq- Mosul, Tikrit, Kirkuk, Baghdad, Basra, Nasariya.

I had to do 5 roads of Hsing-Ie, Hsing-Ie Linkage form, 12 Animal Hsing-Ie, Hsing-Ie two man set (both sides), Tai Chi 32 posture sword, Table Top Sword (a small straight sword form done in a 6' x 6' square), Seven Star straight sword form, and Hua To's 5 animal play (dead, live, and chi kung). Then lots of sparring. One on one and two on one.

I pulled my back out the day before during the physical requirements test. Every year all tha black sashes meet and must complete a special conditioning class. If we can't finish, then we lose our rank. I think I hurt my back during the stance portion of the class. He made us do our horse stances with someone on our back. I didn't feel it when it happened, but it stiffened up later.

For your back, does your instructor do bone-setting or do you have a chiropractor? Either one, followed by DEEP tissue work (hurts like HEL L but it really speeds healing up) and a long soak in a hot tub should help alot. Later.
