director will be dead soon, it's only still around because people don't wanna up their skill sets yet :D

same with other mm products, flash will outstrip them all soon.

authorware is next, that's right, the big one is going down and Flash will rise to the top.

you'd be surprised what flash is capable of... it can do WAY more than macromedia lets on. A guy I work with used to work for macromedia, and he writes complete working applications in flash. Macromedia only really pushes flash's main string point, which is what everyone recognizes it as.
