I ran across a compilation cd from 2000 that has a track by him on it that's pretty tight. I may try to find his cd so I can see what all of it sounds like.

There is some fantastic British Rap @ www.ninjatune.com under the videos section... My favorite has to be Roots Manuva.

I dig Unsung Heroes.. american rappers like JLive produced by brittish cats.

The Streets is really good too, even though it's not hip hop but it got that vibe to it.

I was just coming in here to mention Unsung Heroes. That's a great CD - I love the mid 90s crate-digger sound they use on there. God bless Pete Rock, Diamond D, DJ Premier, Showbiz, and all those cats.

9th Wonder is doing a great job bringing that sound back, too.

which battle?

this is what was played, if I remember right:

b-rabbit vs lickety split - Next Level (showbiz and AG)

b-rabbit vs lotto - Last Dayz (Onyx)

b-rabbit vs pappadoc shook ones (Mobb Deep)

I'll double check when I get home.

If that's the DJ Premier Nyte Tyme remix that samples "Jungle Boogie" its one of my favorite instrumentals ever.

Busdriver just signed to Ninjatune. Dam, they are snatching up all the talent. First Blockhead now Busdriver. BTW, Pick up Blockhead's album "music by cavelight" its the best Trip-Hop album since DJ Shadow's "Endtroducing"
