I have a request to make
Please incrise the maximum pixel size of our avatars
Right now the max size limit is 50x50 pixels
Its too small to put kick ass cool avatars, imho
I think it should be maybe 65x65, hell, 60x60 would to it, even.

Arguments:
We would have better more defined avatars
We would be happier
The forum would NOT take a higher bandwith, cos what determinates that is the maximum AVATAR FILE SIZE (wich is 20kbytes right now, though most peeps avatar is like 2-4k) and not the maximum pixels size

really this is an important question
cos think of this, max file one can upload as avatar is 20k

but you still can have even bigger images as your avatar if you upload them at your own server
you can even put a 2mb movie on gif format as your avatar

I dunno guys, it takes a fairly considerable amount of work to redesign a php board once the planning and implementation is done.

it could be something as simple as altering a global in a style sheet, but it could also amount to more than that.

from what I remember, there is a limited amount of things that can be automatically altered through the configs, but all in all the good folks at kfm inherited this site as is from Steve Creel and they likely don't have the time or the inclination to do all these little redesigns which are not pertinent to the real value of a bbs such as this.

which is the communication and exchange of ideas.

it's costly in page view terms and bandwidth terms the more down and up you got going through the pipes. so for functionality this board is great, but it's not free and none of us have to pay a single penny to be here throwing our stuff around.

suck it up and get creative and do something awesome with your 50x50 avatar alotment bud! what do you want anyway? some big @ss dragonballz char animated? Cause those are a freakin pain to look at all the time. :D

Personally i doubt its hard to pull off this programing-ly wise, i calcute its probly quite simple like changing a few numbers and all

I dunno if you really understood, no one asked for more bandwith, in fact i mentioned incrising the max pixels of avatar would not direclty absolutely use more bandwith.
In fact i go ahead and say, the max file size now is 20K, and that is a LOT for an avatar, be it 50x50 or 100x100.
