It's a benefit for Self-Help for the Elderly - see our calendar (http://ezine.kungfumagazine.com/news/index.php?month=04&year=2004) for April 12th. And don't forget to mention to them that you saw it here!

This film is distributed by Fortissimo films (http://www.fortissimo.nl/catalogue/title.asp?filmID=184) and has a very limited release. It was Opening Film Panorama Dokumente Berlin Film Festival 2003. It was directed by Mabel Cheung, who also did Beijing Rocks (HK Film Awards best picture nominee 2002) City of Glass (HK Film Awards Best Director nominee 1999, Golden Globe Best picture winner 1998) and the critically acclaimed Soong Sisters (http://store.martialartsmart.net/movmicyeohso.html). This benefit is one of the only showings of Traces of the Dragon for the USA.

...it was a sold out performance - quite a money raiser for a great cause. Jackie looks good at 50 - he says his secret is to do something good every day. Well, he certianly did something good last night. The charity benefit was an overwhleming success. And if you ever get the chance to see Traces of the Dragon, it's really good. A must see for any student of Chinese history or any fan of Jackie. Heartwrenching. Everyone was crying in the movie. Even I got a little misty.
