Looks like PTP to me.

It doesn't tell you how to arrive at your starting weight, tho.

I don't know. Pick a weight, take a look at the cycle, and decide if you are going to be able to do it.

How far apart are you supposed to space those workouts?

4-5 times a week

Usually you limit yourself to 2-3 exercises,with at least one upper and one lower body exercise. These are grinds, not ballistic lifts. If you want to do supplementary work you do it all in a seperate workout every 4 workouts. When you complete your PTtP cycle, you do a couple weeks where you reverse the importance of the main exercises and supplementary exercises. Then you start over on a new PTtP cycle. This kind of workout protocol emphasizes the nervous system.

I've never tried it. I'm going to try just applying it to one exercise, say bench press, and still do a variety of exercises.
