Link works for me. You might have a browser problem.

As per the issue, straight blast isn't impossible to counter.

"Well against a guy who knows how to straight blast it's basically impossible. All your counter attacks will become intercepted, if you try to side-step the person can simply angle the blast in a different direction, if you try to cover up boxing style that sets up an easy clinch, if you try a kick you will be falling down (for obvious reasons), and you cant really jump as far away as possible from the blast either, because a person who can do good straight blasts knows how to maintain good forward pressure and you won't get a chance. This is why the straight blast is so effective."

LOL! Friggin JKD people make me laugh sometimes.

Heh, heh. Sooooo...if the straight blast is so unbeatable why even learn anything else? What is the rest of the art there for, to keep them from being too bored after they've mastered the straight blast? Stay away! I'm TOOO dangerous! *Said while chain punching the air* :D

No workie for me either, but network54 forums always try to install adware on your comp to read the forums, so I won't be bothering to try to figure out the problem, anyway.

It attempted to install a program from GAIN Publishing. GAIN is Gator. It's a tracking program that tracks where you go, sends the information back to the GAIN servers, and in turn, GAIN sells the information to pop-up *******s who use the information to strategically place pop-ups all over the place. It's not like it is going to crash your PC, or mess it up...but it is low down, dirty spyware. It will slow your PC down somewhat, and it's just annoying as hell.

Go to www.adaware.com and download the free program there, it lets you delete and quarantine spyware programs.

Straight blast has to be the gayest name ever.

GAIN is crappy as hell!

kf cowboy, I used to train at "Straight Blast Gym" before I moved two weeks ago. It was a nhb/mma school. No relation to Wing Chun or JKD. I don't know why they use the term "straight blast" in their name. Actually, I was told that it's cuz they use the "boxing straight blast," which is alternating crosses (right cross, left cross, right cross, etc.). But anyway, it was just a MMA/NHB school. No TMA at all.

So are we talking like wing chun style chain punches?
Or a boxing style straight blast that you refered to re SBG?
Hate chain punches, but like the boxing type straight blast.
For an example of the later see Vitor Belfort.

It is chain punching from Wing Chun. You throw a series of punches down the center of the body in rapid succession. Some people can throw up to like 10 in less than a second. And according to the website (WHICH WORKED FOR ME) it is the greatest thing ever.
