Hey guys. My shoulder surgery went ok. The doc actually had to undo some of the healing that had taken place to correct my injuries--I'm a fast healer and a Physical Therapy animal so that healing came as a bit of a surprise to her and made the surgery a little longer.

Ill be in this ridiculous gunslinger brace for the next six weeks, and PT until about September before I'm back full speed.

Percocet and I are now good friends, but after one day, I'm already able to take a little bit less.

Cheers all.

Speedy recovery! You sound like you're doing fine.

Another effect of opiates is that they can make one's respiration lazy, meaning that you take in less oxygen. So, with all the PT, make sure you remember to breathe.

best,
Cody

They also predispose you to watching Law and Order reruns. Be ever vigilant.
