Stumbled onto this forum,Bit preplexed by the attitudes towards Daoism presented here.First couple of pages are interesting about abstaining but after that it goes a bit warped,and amusing.

I recommend a book to you called "The roots of chinese Qigong"

Good book on the history and workings of Qi cultivation and manipulation.

One thing is does discuss is whether one should ingage in sexual acts or not. Tho it does not condone extreme amounts of sexual acts, it does not forbid it either. It is said that when one engages in a sexual act, it acts as a recycling/rejuvenation method for your Qi.
