Since no one saw my questions in my other thread, I'll ask them again here.

Double end bags:

1. Can you mount one in an apartment? What is required to do so? They don't require any special stands or holders or hardware or anything other than like a hook, right? And then I assume they're just weighted down by a weight or something on the bottom. The thing is that you never see pics of where the cords attach in the catalogs.

2. Would this be a good tool for me to work on my punch accuracy, and more importantly, slipping and bobbing and weaving with?

3. What size is the best for a beginner? I've seen them in 5", 6", 7", 8", and 9". I would assume smaller = faster and harder to hit, but I don't know.

Alright thanks.

To mount one in an apt, you would have to find a stud in the ceiling. Use cord or rope to go from the ceiling to the ball, then use a rubber bungie cord to go from the ball to the floor held down by a weight.............. 25lb plate would do.

As you suspected the smaller the more harder to hit the target, like a speed bag, start large then go smaller.

I have one and they are great, try kicking, punching, blocking and weaving. great workout, make sure to buy only leather

You can screw it into the floor if you have a good drill and some cement screws.
Century sells one that comes with attachments for floor and ceiling. I love mine, I used it every night. You have to replace the cords often, or at least tie it over and over again.
Yes, smaller = harder to hit. Start on whatever size you think would be difficult but not impossible for you.
