I haven't trained much in the past two years partly because of a debalitating illness that took me nearly a year to fully recover and partly because I've been concentrating on other activities like mountain biking, rock climbing, and snowboarding. I'm in the middle of a move now and decided to go for a jog after I brought some stuff over to my new place yesterday, so I could scope out the area.
I pass the place called the American Martial Arts Center and peek in the window expecting to see some typical karate school stuff, but these guys were all geared up and going full boar at each other with kicks, punches, knees, elbows, and throws. I wasn't really planning on training much MA again besides some sessions here and there, but this place is less than a mile from my new apartment.
I figure once I actually fully move in, I'll stop by the place to find out about prices. I might as well if it's right there. I can spare an hour here and there during the week.
