I was in I&I Sports a few days ago and noticed they had a dvd of footage someone took of kung-fu masters in Taiwan.
George Mattson filmed it in Taiwan 1964. (currently 9th degree Uechi Ryu black belt)

Have any of you guys seen this ? Any good ?

I've got the VHS version of this.

It is interesting, although after a while most of the forms start to look the same. However it is worth owning because it has rare footage of Hong Yixiang.

One gripe I do have with the footage is that because it was shot with no sound they have overlayed some absolutely terrible and extremely irritating cheapo copyright free classical music tracks that do not suit what we are seeing at all! So if you do buy it I recommend that you watch it with the volume turned down to minimum!

Greetings,

I also have the tape. I enjoyed it. I wish it was longer. Maybe one day Taiwan will share their vintage footage of the past generations with us.

I see that I was not the only one ticked off by the music.
