If someone of whom I was (or thought I was) in charge dies by a bullet from a gun, I don't say It's my fault Nor take responsibility, per se. I create a scene and misdirect attention to something obvious and slant my say so that I get sided-with and blame is cast to a secondary-ish cause (type thing).

Skip that you got married and better or worse. Skip that you are biological protospring to the off-spring. Skip alliances. You do without knowing. Have no faith. Think you can manage it because you think you are Not wrong~

When the Oops principle (made-up) occures...How do I shift the blame? Shurk responsibility...I don't mind gambling because I could win big--Fruit me, I didn't decide choosing to see the most likely failure. And especially not decide Willing to accept the repercussions of my actions...

My baby was killed. They did it. I had to kill, it was delf defense, I had No choice. They said s/he was so we had to beat 'em up for Honor...for Justice...[cough]for Vengence. [cough] for Spite. [cough] to appear Good. [cough]selfish/Greedy...

Abortion blues, up springs prochoice/prolife. Not an issue Our circles have their rules. We follow as we fear/feel/believe/. Life tends to seem to be pretty much, whatever whatever.

Someone being whatever whatever. That's a weapon. [the misdirect] Sympathize with me or you are a bad person and you'll look bad to others; ban the use of that and people don't get hurt like the example of my charge. [more an actual thought] One less thing for me to bother with since I lied them to legislate against. What else should I do now to make others do what I want, so I don't have to bother as much?

Who views a single sheet of 8½" by 11" paper as a Aid to hurt someone (attacker; unarmed (no tool in hand))?

In middle school I used to fold up chunks of paper to get really hard and shot them off rubber bands at people... So Im sure if you folded it right it could work as a fist pack or something similar.

Thank you Meat Shake, Awesome.

It has been my comprehension from Kung-Fu, a something or other to use nearly anything as a fighting tool. I think that it is not Kung-Fu solely--Comprehension. Kung-Fu was merely a vehicle for me. For some it can be a Physics class or the sport of Tennis. Or a Koan (Or a phrase that doesn't initially seem logical to you~).

Rolled up newspaper is supposedly pretty hard.

Yes, and if you have some around you can see for yourself. This can be carried in a pocket. Or walk with it on your hand, like, school notes or flyers to be posted for a party or concert.

You could give them a papercut :D

Or you could fold the paper into a hard point, and use it for jabbing.

Or are you talking more about words that can be written on the paper to hurt someone? :)

I carry around a poster that says
"YOURE UGLY! I HATE YOU!"

bundles of newspaper are heavy, and when dropped from a good height, can make someone go splat.

I think a few pieces could easily be turned into a decent blade, at least to thrust with, www.fightingarts.com has a old article about folding magazines into pretty sharp/hard objects for defense etc.

Weapons are easy to find. Scratch your credit card on the pavement a few times and its sharp enough to do major damage.

etc.

you can actually make a 'brick' out of newspaper with enough folding that makes a nasty tool hit people with.

I was wondering if people could see more than they had noticed before. I would like to put together a book or manual. But not include mundane stuff. And address something that many could use to their benefit. Paper can be found in places that sticks might not be. They can be used as deterrants to attacks. I wondered if people thought of or to indicate to others a versitility to paper sheets.

As was brought out, this can extend to magazines. If threatened knowing that rolling up paper or folding paper can fighting tool equip you might support with relief a person who otherwise might be too fear stricken to help themselves~.

And yes, writing on paper can hurt others and one's self. The power of the written word and of your use of the paper on which it might be written.

As a physical weapon, it simply isn't very good. I suppose one could use it as an aid for suffocation- blocking the airway by covering mouth/nose.

If it were used for papier mache, one could make a single-use shank, too.

Just write 'KICK ME' on the paper and stick it on their back

My grandmaster showed us this once. He curved a piece of paper so that it was a U shape in his hand and had the seinor student attack him. The minute he attacked, my Grandmaster jabbed at him with the paper right between the eyes, at the nose bridge and the senior student stumbled back really quick.

Kymus, that's a nifty relating.

ZIM there are more suitable things for hurting but a gun with bullets or knife or sword or axe or staff.

paperbags flyers/posters sheets of paper at office or school, business cards are also accessable and though not the most offensive of tools it might be something if people can see their usefulness potential to augment theirdefensive/offensive -ness to an agressor (not weapon bearing)

The point concept is paper sheet(s) alone not mache`~. I'm thinking walking home, some punk or punks/ bullies~ block your way ...attack after trying to intimidate you. you have four pieces of paper folded or pre squished or rolled reach bach fold it once or a few times and at bothends of your fists you have a blunt edged tool. that against bare hands or arms might deter. when bear hugged from behind I've heard knock the knuckles. But also that can't always knock hard enough to get the let go reaction. I think paper in hand and folded right can be that little differece that makes the difference in at least ine instance.

I am not trying to replace.~ Nor the best. Merely something more. Do other than shut me~ down, but rather let me bring a new~perspective-ish/idea/concept/thought.

4 pieces of paper; while it's not much of a bashing weapon, it would make a good stabbing weapon. I like to play with the - random-objects-as-a-weapon idea. Jackie Chan always makes great refrence of these.
