China's Top team came to a local college here (RIT).
I conviced my parents to let me go, since I had good grades and such.
And I had to skip some of school to go.
My friend from class was able to "get out" of work and go, so I saw him there. Right when they called us down to go work my friend was all in a suit so he had to go get changed. During that I was working with some spear.
No one spoke one bit of english. I was trying to figure out if they were speaking Chantonese or Madarin...I was leaning towards cantonese but I don't know enough to tell for sure.
After some spear work, and other people working at other stations were told to go sit back down to watch them do they're forms and such. I think it was because everyone was sucking, but oh well.
Right then my friend came back and after seeing them do the forms I went and did Longfist form with my friend.
And it was **** hard.
But what kinda ****ed me off was that right when we were starting to understand it and with a half hour more left of the workshop the guy showing us just walks away. Doesn't even tell us or give us any sign....he just walks away.
So me and my friend there was just working on the form, debating with each other how it went.
"Where the hell is that guy?" I said
"no idea." Said my friend.
"I think he ditched us" I said
laughter from my friend and the other people doing the form.
So then everyone just walked off.
I wanted to squezze in somewhere but it was hard and I wasnt able too. I just stood there hoping they would take me in but they were getting ready to pack up.
But it was still a hella time, just wished I learned more.
My dad had recorded the whole thing. If someone wants to see it please help me out and let me know how I can get it on a computer. Let me know if you want to help me out, it would be greatly appreated.
