Found something interesting, a site and a pdf file that lists in DETAIL where and which US Forces are stationed.

I know that most of those are of course there to guard enbassies and similar, but interesting nonetheless that US troops and which branches are in 70% of all the countries of the world.
Next time some bright spark tells me that the US is keeping me safe I can point out that they only got some 20+ troops in my Home-Country. :D
