Corpus Christie is a long drive from Houston area. Try this guy - http://www.jademountain.org/index.html
I don't know him but he's trained with some good Sifu's and he's in the Houston area. Three of his teachers came from Wah Lum so it's probably a mix but worth checking out.

Looks like you asked another question while I was typing. Without opening up a can of worms, yes both Instructors a currently teaching the Wah Lum system.

As far as Mantis authenticity, Wah Lum is a hybrid system consisting of Northern Mantis (Jut Sow Mantis) and Tam Tui with some southern influences. Traditional Mantis styles include 7 Star, Plum Flower, 8 Step and others. There are plenty of knowledgeable people on this forum that can give more info although Wah Lum might be the only thing available in your area.
