BTW- two recent deliveries.
Our own Curtis George <curtgeorge@woway.com> makes
great equipment and adaptations. He made a great
personalized jong leg for me and I just got an
experimental arm as well. Thanks Curtis.

Carina at <www.little-raven.com/>, a wing chun sister
also makes great dummies, wooden bot jam do-s, and
western and Eastern wooden martial equipment. She
works with metal and other materials as well. Just got
some great bot jam do-s from her for practice.

((Being disconbobulated in Tucson (or Phoenix) isnt all bad. Being dis-concatenated in wing chun or on the dance floor is a lot worse.

Hi Hendrik- doing fine. The SLT and wing chun helps me keep centered in the midst of the ups and downs of life.

One cannot over emphasize the importance of doing slt well for good wing chun together with the drills and varieties of chi sao and 2person timing work.

Wing chun is not the only way to self defense but because it is an unique way it has its own requirements. Though we come from different lineages, I follow many of your points. But-
I dont have the missionary bent in trying to convince people
about the uniqueness of wing chun.

Lots of broken or incomplete connections in the transmission of wing chun anyway-historically and now.. IMO.

Some good news- a good student of mine- came to wc after doing
years of kenpo, aikido, kenpo, kali etc. A very competent ex marine with real experience. He saw that good wc anticipates many problems only partially adressed in many martial arts including the mid section in wc structure. He is going to Idaho soon and after settling down will teach wing chun. So i have a teacher's pride at the moment will teach wing chun there. I will have more info after he gets settled. I will be getting my own domain and website. I didnt know much about domain ownership till recently. Apparently my exwebmaster registered the domain in his name rather than mine.

Now in a pique he is attempting to substitute another website. He can do that but he shouldnt use my specific plum blossom design, calligraphy, dragon design and of course the pics and materials. Nor should he piggy back on the links that I negotiated.

The Azwingchun domain is his. He should negotiate his own links with other sites rather than piggy back mine. The Tempe Wing Chun name is mine. My domain name will be different. Watch out for it.

I even understood about 50% of the French. I dont know French- but years of Classical Latin as a kid combined with taking one required French-English exam.(fortunately I once knew Montesquieu
in Ingles) gives me tiny glimpses of meaning now and then for simple written French with or without poutine.
