Is there any place on the web that gives specific instructions and measurements on how to build a Horse Bench? I can't seem to find any immediately.

Thanks,

PS I know I could probably eyball it, but I'd like it to be as exact as possible.

I think Wing Lam sells this.

Haven't seen any diagrams, made mine off the benches used in a lion cance.

Decking planking and 2x2's are good to use.

My heavy one I used a 2x6 as the center plank and 2x4's for the legs.

both are 4 ft long

...he made us all make them ourselves. We (his senior instructors) were trying to learn the form and he said he would teach us if we had benches. So one of our guys, who conveniently had a table saw, et.al. in his garage put together a work party and we all spent a day banging out these benches. We didn't do them all traditional-like. We just copied the design as best we could and threw some wood screws in to secure the legs. Traditional benches are pressure fit - no need for nails or screws, but we could figure out how to do that exactly. Anyway, if you have basic carpentry skills, and aren't attached to some traditional design, it's just a saw horse. If I can make one (and I'm a lousy carpenter) anyone can.
