Cardio Karaticise is the first of the soft style kung fu based workout routines

Uhh... So was this invented before Tai Chi?

What a joke.

Cardio Karaticise™ is based upon Shou’ Shu, a soft style form of Kung Fu.

If it's Kung Fu, why call it Karaticise™ ? Why not Kung Fuiciese™ ??

You know, after reading this, and seeing the video clip, I think it's juts someone taking thier warmup drills, and marketing them as the latest Kardio Tae Bo Boxing.

I think calling a Kung Fu method, "Karateicise" is bad, but considering this is an attempt to market a workout program main stream, it's understandable.

Isn't he one of the super frauds, like Chung Moo, Shaolin Do and Temple Kung Fu?

Has he been discussed here before?

Or am I just daffy?

Looks like these guys have a typical made from TV Movies version of history, common to other well known major frauds. I like the fact that you can ONLY learn this style from them.

SHENG HUN is a triad, Wu Tang-based, Shaolin style of Kung Fu derived from the practice of mimicking the body movements of seven balanced animals. Unlike any other style of kung fu, Da Shifu's method can only be studied at FarEast Fighting Arts School of Sheng Hun Kung Fu

When Shaolin temples were burned and the Shaolin monks killed, a small band of monks fled into the Wu Tang Mountains. This small band of Shaolin monks were named triads and trained by Da Mo, their Da Shifu (teacher) and the creator of Law Hon Gung: the monk's martial way. Da Mo enlightened the monks with fighting movements from seven animals and encouraged them to become the animals. This style was known as Sheng Hun, the animal spirit. When teaching the monks movements from these animals, he purposely chose to teach only "balanced" animals. What does "balanced" mean? The seven animals chosen by Da Mo, the bear, mantis, crane, cobra, tiger, mongoose and dragon were animals with practical and effective fighting movements. Any unorthodox movements, such as those of the monkey, were not taught to the triads. The triads did not train for competition, they trained for war. Thus Sheng Hun is also called the "war art."

At Far East Fighting Arts School for Sheng Hun Kung Fu, we teach these animal movements of self-defense to help develop the entire body as well as the mind and spirit. The Sheng Hun system blends both internal and external disciplines originating from the ancient Shaolin warriors. There is a perfect balance of hand and kicking techniques as well as joint control. This enables the student to develop a full range of self-defense abilities. Sheng Hun does not teach traditional movements; basic movements that can be detected in most other styles of martial arts.

An animal does not fight like a man, and the art is not a derived from a military background. No sport competition or aesthetic performances are involved, just the training and the aggressive edge your body needs when your subconscious mind tells it to react!

Buddhist records are a reliable source of historical information, becouse to a great extent, the monasteries stood apart from the conflicts and turmoil that engulfed China over the centuries. While other documents were destroyed, Buddhist records survived.
History has it that Da Mo, the Bodhisattva warrior, arrived in China from India in 217 B.C. and brought with him advanced forms of animal fighting styles of martial arts that originated from the eighteen animals of the ancient yogas. Not only is this mentioned in Buddhist records but is also depicted on the stone carvings and rubbings from the tombstones of the ancient fighting monks. To some it is called the "lost art" or the "unknown art," but to the highly trained triads of the Wu Tang it was known as "shenghun," which means "animal spirit." Although Da Mo was not the creator of Chinese martial arts, he is credited with bringing the animal fighting systems of the bear, praying mantis, white crane, cobra, tiger, mongoose and dragon to the Wu Tang mountain of the three mystic mountains of China.
It is with great pride and humility that we carry on the teachings of these animals for Da Mo, to show respect to the brave monks that trained so hard to get back what belonged to them. Da Mo lives with in our Da Shifu - with unyielding commitment and devotion to teaching, he offers the lost art of Da Mo to any person, of any level of fitness, who has an open mind and a willingness to learn.
