What: US Open Challenge Martial Arts Tournament and National Shaolin Kungfu Training Camps to benefit the Non-Profit Muscular Dystrophy Association and the Shaolin Temple Saving the Children Project (headed by Deyang) and other events
When: June 19, 2004 US Open Challenge Tournament in Mobile; June 20-26 National Training Camp in Mobile, July 25-August 8 at the Shaolin Temple in China
Where: US Open and Training Camp will be held in Mobile at the Liu Institute and
Pensacola Beach, Part two training camp will be held in China
Why: US Open Challenge is to to benefit the non-profit National Muscular Dystrophy Association to offer hope through worldwide MDA-funded research to help disabled children by finding treatments and cures for 43 neuromuscular diseases.
US National Shaolin Kungfu training camps are to raise fund the Shaolin Saving the Children Projects headed by Master Deyang and to promote traditional Shaolin Chan and Kungfu.
US Open Challenge
US Open Challenge Sanshou Fighting tournament is promoted by United States Sanshou Kungfu Federation (USASKF) along with Liu Institute International on June 19th in Mobile, AL
Sanshou/Sanda Training Camp
The USASKF will also host a National Sanshou and Self-Defense Training Camp including Kickboxing, Grappling and Demark disabling terrorists on June 20-26, at the Liu Institute International, Mobile AL.
Chan/Zen Studies and Shaolin Training
Authentic Shaolin Chan (Zen) studies and Kungfu training Camp (part 1) will be held on June 20-June 26 in Mobile, Alabama.
Authentic Shaolin Chan (Zen) studies and Kungfu training Camp (part 2) will be held on July 25 through August 8 at the Shaolin Temple, China. Shaolin Instructors certification credits will be available after completion of the tests.
Master Chen Zheng Lei Chen Tai Chi
Chen Family style of Tai Chi and Shaolin Qi Gong Retreat with Master Chen and De Ru
Saturday, Oct. 2-3, Chen Style Taiji Retreat will include Silk Reeling and Traditional Chen Family Form and Push Hands as well as Tai Gong conducted by Master Chen and DeRu
Shaolin training and studies will be conducted by Deyang, Deru and other Shaolin monks and Masters under the guidance of the great Master Suxi. All participants will be awarded with certification of participation. Training Camp is sponsored by Shaolin World Federation directed by Great Master Suxi as Chief advisor, Deru and Deyang as Chief Instructors.
