Just read a blurb about Emen getting hoisted from the association by Leung Ting.

Really didn't say much about it.
Has there been a serious falling out between these two?

just chit chatting. ok,... trolling :D
but, what's up you EWTA members?

Hi Kung Lek,

The story would vary depending on who you speak to. Basically the short story would be that Emin had a falling out with Keith Kernaprecht and then with Leung Ting. It seemed to be centered around a reunion seminar or some such, Anyhow, one story is that Emin had scheduled some seminars during this period of time which were in conflict with the events being conducted by Leung Ting. There was also some allusion about some of Emins tapes causing unfair competition with other instructors. I don't know how much is fact and how much conjecture but that is one side. FWIW, Rene Latosa has apparently affialiated himself with Emin and broke ties with Ting although, Bill Newman, Rene's top guy in Europe remained with Leung Ting and Kernsprecht.

Many of the WT instructors have opted to remain with Emin and his new org while the Leung Ting people have reorganized. One thing of interest is that many of the new "representatives" of the Leung Ting group are not even primarly level and several are only 8th SG. Not sure what this will mean or develope into.

Over all it is a sad course of events. I have no doubt that money was the motivating factor behind all of this. I wish both groups the best and hope that, one day, all can accept the differences and put aside personal feelings for the benefit of our art in general.

Peace,

Dave
