What company produces the best customized cues? Since I'm about to be able to start light training again, and am almost 100% again, I'm looking to get back heavy into playing billiards. But, I'm tired of using those crap-happy public-use sticks
you get at the pool hall.

I've been seriously considering some Viking (http://www.vikingcue.com/pages/cues/cues.htm) cues, but I'm looking for something a bit more personalized.

Any ideas?

How much you looking to spend? Good cues are like anything good, expensive.

NP:

Not $805.00 (http://www.vikingcue.com/pages/cues/w30.htm) . I once found a cue for right around $150 that was a good design, 23 ounces, hard shot. For the life of me, I can not remember what company made it. So, I'm gonna say my upper range is $200.00. The hall where I play usually has some good quality cues, and they run nice and cheap.

That's what I put inside the cue. That way, whenever the guy I'm cheating finds out, I can just whale away on 'im, not hafta worry 'bout breaking my stick.

23 oz, ****, my old cue was a 19 ozer.. I like the mid weight cues, the heaviest I like to use however is around 21 oz. Nowadays I usually just walk around the pool hall for a half an hour or so until I find one that is relatively straight. I'd think about ebaying it, after you find a brand you like.

I used to use a 21 ounce, but I feel like I have better control with a 23. Probably from using the bo so much for karate.

I didn't even think about ebay. I'll have a look around there.
