Best wishes to all Canadians on this list.
Soon it will be our July 4.

Thomas Jefferson's last words: "Is it the Fourth?".
He wrote the draft that was debated and adopted as the Declaration of Independence.

Whenever a man can get a decent sleep and time to do what he likes, it's a cause for celebration! Happy Canadians to ya! =)

I watched the movie "Canadian Bacon" recently!...Funny how you can percieve my country sometimes!...Oups!...There is a moose on my lawn!...Got to chase it away!...

Old Jong-

Canadian bacon ? havent seen it. But tasted it and like it.
Been to Canada. Havent seen any moose yet. Mouse may be.

Have visited a couple of tribal reserves north of Calgary several years ago. Apart from the big cities. One son who is into Native American issues has visited Mohawk country on the Canadian side..and Montreal.

Limited knowledge of cultural geography in the US is not limited
to Canadian Affairs- Mexico too. No wars lately.
Unfortunately it sometimes takes a war for folks to get a sense of where Korea is, or Vietnam or Cambodia, or Afghanistan or Iraq.
Geography lessons can be expensive.

This Sunday with July 4--- there will be fireworks in many communities including mine-ususally organized. When i lived in New mexico you could buy them on roadside shops.

In any case good wishes on your Canada day.

thanks guys! it was a great canada day here in the nation's captial. Some pretty crazy winds/rain for about an hour but otherwise a good time. A little sideways rain is ok, doesn't get in yer beer that way!
