Okay, I think I track down a link to a video clip of the recent sanda vs karate event that took place on 6/24.

but, I am on dialup and can't see it.

It won't load up well for me, plays for about 10 sec. then needs to load for another minute, then plays for about 10 sec... etc.


From what I did have patience to watch that was exactly what it looked like.. and there were some good highlights of some throws.

Skip to about 5 minutes into it. Lots of throws by the team in the red trunks. This is a highlight clip not matches.

I love how San Da still retains a very Chinese flavor, despite being a modern sport. It seems like its finally becoming a rival to muay thai as the "king of the ring". I wish it was as porular here as it is over there =(.
