Musicians , Artist and Martial arts

I have noticed a link between Martial arts , Muscians , and artist,

no matter which one i met they usually at some time in there life have been interested in the other 2


This post was akward for me to word it correctly

I've noticed a link between martial artists, eating and drinking. I know all of the martial artists I know do atleast one if not both of them.

Well, to me it makes sense.

Music and Martial Arts are both vehicles for "self-expression."

Or expression of "what we think is the self" .

(ie the ego, a little "mystical" play on words there for those that didn't get it.)

Even though in a "post hoc" way we might intellecutalize about music or martial arts ultimately they predominantly take place in the pre-intellecutal mode.

However, I would contend that there is a difference in that music is mental act of "creation" where as martial arts is the physical act of "destruction. "

Perhaps, doing both is an effort to balance the creative and destructive aspects of that self-expression.

I have also found this to be true. In fact, I would say more artistic, and musician folk are attracted towards Kung-Fu, due to its "flamboyant' nature whereas Karate attracts people of more rigid thinking.

i am a musician of some kind yeah
not doing MA now though

i like other arts but never had much time to em
i like to draw
i have made a good drawing
i had put it on some thread or some
i dont remember if people liked it or not

i am crazy too

artists are allowed to be crazy
but only if they get artistic recognition that overclouds their craziness
so in my case
no one knows about my art
cos its quite unproductive
so i am just crazy
