What this law is saying is that you are not allowed to have self defense when you try to kill somebody. So it is ok that the other person kills you while you try to kill him in the first place.

One called cerberus touched on this too. If there's only two parties involved (not that this should be celebrated) and you start-ish the killing. If you had a bullet proof vest on, you were likely expecting to get shot when you deliberately went to kill someone (the other party). We prefer no killings (contingent...).

If you think/feel you'll get shot when you try to kill someone, and you get in trouble for wearing a bulletproof vest. You might not bother killing in the first place sicne knowing killing gets you in trouble, you went to make it look like a justifiable shooting where you did in self defense. Willing to take a bullet so that you could be justified in killing the person (s). If this scene happens and you hide the vest but your clothes are (bloodied) with a bullet hole, you had a vest on and were hiding the bullet that hit you
deceiving by hiding the vest. Whatever your story is it is suspuct that you are not guilty of making this happen. Which makes you a murderer, who tried to look clean of murder if you kill while wearing a bulletproof vest.~
