View Full Version : Weight Transition...

Greetings..

There seems to be several differing schools of thought regarding weight transition...

Front foot with heel down and toes raised, slowly lowering toes as weight is transferred forward..

Flat stepping, where the front foot is placed flat and weight transferred onto flat foot..

Front foot heel down toes raised, toes lowered by rotating torso on rear hip, allowing the toes to lower naturally and storing spiral energy in rear leg.. then releasing stored energy in rear leg as the waist (torso) twists and the weight is transferred forward.. (my personal favorite)..

But, in order to expand my understanding of this crucial movement i am inquiring as to other points of view / experiences..

Thanks, and.. Be well..
