If they're not faked up frauds, this is the most amazing human-type movement I've ever seen from any robot.

I was especially knocked out by the "getting up" routines.

well, they are RC units, not technically "robots" but the articulation is really well done.

The fully automated, thinks for itself robot can't be far away...can it?

well, no, I haven't "seen" I Robot, but I did read teh book in junior high school way back in the disco days.

It was a cool story, I do hope hollywood hasn't butchered it too too badly.

On the second page, the one called "Autonomous movement samples," where he sees the ball and kicks it... if that was done autonomously, that's amazing.

I read a thing about this robot they made a while ago that could read organ music through it's "eyes" and play it on and organ, pedals and all. There was a picture of it at my University. At least, I think it was real.
