no, vash, i'd wager that someone on that flight ****ed of Thor. usually God just sends a plague or locusts. Thor's the one with the electric personality.

in fact lightning striking a plane is more common than lightning striking you on the ground.

Not to worry though,,the plane is not "Grounded" so there is no where for the current to travel, it just sparks off the plane and the plane flys on. i do wonder about heat damage and all,,,but i guess the plane can take it as the current from the lightning bolt has nowhere to go.
