Hi all,

After this Friday, I'm beating feet out of here. I have a lot going on right now and need to focus my time on that rather than here. I just got a book deal to write about athletic training, so I want to do my best with that. I'll probably be back in a year to promote it under my real name. It's going to cover everything from pre-hab/rehab to the different types of strength to diet and supplementation.

I'll still lurk every once in a while, so feel free to PM me. Good luck to you all and train hard. Remember that most fights are won before the first punch is thrown. The will to prepare is the will to succeed. Wish me luck with the book, snowboarding, and Aussie Football.

I spent 6 winters as a ski instructor in Austria and 1 winter in B.C. (so you're probably right about the communist hippie bit :D). I did teach snowboarding for the last 2 winters, but it doesn't compare to my love of skiing. My wife's primarily a snowboarder though, so I have to compromise. But I haven't even seen snow since '98 :(. It's very difficult for me. Especially when my brother has been in B.C. for 6 months.
