Why are the ones that go in the corner so freaking expensive? One of the U shaped ones that goes in the middle of the room is like $129, but a corner one is like $250. wtf? They're made out of the same amount of metal, why the hell are the corner ones so much more?

And if anyone knows of a cheap place to get a corner one, tell me.

because more people want the corner ones and they figure they can get away with it.

oval is a nice shape.

Don't worry. Kung Lek will be here soon to tell you what stand to get. He trains with guys who eat nails, so he knows what he's talking about. Nobody else does though. :p

Ok the only corner stands I've seen are the Golds gym one and Century's corner man, both of which are like $250. Are there any other brands anyone knows about?

And then there's that stuff made by Balazs where you can take the normal price and multiply it by 4.

I'd get one of the other kind but I don't have room for it.

Hi IronFist,

Jeff Martone and the people at torque athletic have developed a pull up bar that may have heavy bag potential. I sent them an email asking about weight limits and safety and they never got back to me-- maybe they never thought about that. Maybe you will have better luck corresponding with them.

Presently I am using my Power Tower to hang a 50lb bag.

i predict that you are going to be $250 poorer.

I predict I'm going to be $250 + tax poorer.

I hope a place has one of those corner models in stock. I don't want to order it and then wait and pay shipping and stuff.
