If you found out that either one of your students, or someone who wants to be your student, posted stuff on an m.a. discussion forum that annoyed people, would you teach or continue to teach them? I say it depends. If they post stuff that is immoral or illegal, then obviously not. However, if they express views or concerns that may annoy some people but not others, then I am not sure. It can be hard to judge what a person's true intentions are based soley on what they post over the internet. Thanks in advance.

As a teacher you should vet your students long before they get a chance to still be your student while posting on the internet.

Some of us are only interested in skill acquisition, not who and what are chatting and gosiping and getting bent out of shape on the net.
