Sifu Redmond,
Good luck with your seminar, I wish I could afford to travel to Canada to attend. For anyone who hasn't had the pleasure of meeting Sifu Redmond, he excellent at both explaining and demonstrating his WC.

edit: I'd also like to point out that he's extremely non-partisan, so no matter what lineage you come from, you're liable to have a great experience.

Dear Phil,

I wish you the best of luck with your seminar. I have a friend who is new to the Baltimore area. Are there only good wc instructors in that area?

I just wanted to add that I will be teaching Baat Jaam Do basics and techniques during the seminar. You'll have to bring your own swords though. ;)

Hey Ernie,
My WC bro Keith Mazza is a distributor for Cold Steel.
We bought a few pair of the Cold Steel BJD and they are REALLY sharp. I'm starting to show my students more DO because I need the practice so that I don't cut my own arms off.

Everyone sparred 3 min (no contact), rounds with a 1 min rest period during the last 30 minutes of the seminar. After each 3 min round they would get another partner. The goal was to have people try to put together techinques and get some cardio out of it as well. There are many beginners here so please don't be too critical of them. After about 30 minutes some could barely hold their guard up.

This is fun!
I often have my students do the last 1/2 hour of their lesson this way.
