the server was getting blasted last night. they will be up though, you jsut have to check back. they are standard .wmv, might have to update your codecs if they dont work :dunno:

mac users will have difficulty if they don't have a version of media player or a compatible player.

same for pc users who are using an outmoded OS such as win95 or 98 without a recent copy of media player.

not going to be a thorough translation b/c it will take too much effort.

1. 3rd International Shaolin Kung fu comp at NJ.
2. Shi Yan Feng brought his studnets (list of name) to attend.
3. Alexander Ng did the best in comp. Won several events.
4. Several event competition: hong quan, taji, etc, etc.

5. Seven year old Zhao Jia Dian, Alexander Ng, and ten year old tai Hui were "amazingly good".

6. Huang wei hua won four events (lohan, tong bei, two weapons).
7. A rundown of other competitors from the team and how they did. and the winners of other events.
8. Shi Guo Lin, et al did some demo (drunken sabre, taiji, five elements) on the 24th.
9. Shi Yan feng did some demo: ditang and some breaking demo.
10. competitors came from NJ, NY, Huston, Europe, etc.
11. Shi Yan Feng said MA is to purify one's heart. MA training is not make people violent. but, develop ability to help other.

I went to Taiji Legacy the weekend after Lipeng's event and Tammy Lee, a Jow Gar stylist, wowed everyone with her skills. Check it out here - Taiji Legacy thread (http://ezine.kungfumagazine.com/forum/showthread.php?threadid=31650).

Anyway, I don't think it was really fair to call Guolin and Yansong MCs either. It was all Zhang Lipeng; he was MC, performer, promoter, judge, organizer and chaffeur. He did it all. Too much IMO. Guolin and Yansong were guests of honor, but they didn't do anything beyond being guests.
