your neighbours and your landlord will now officially hate you.

and trust me on this one, if you have any power whatsoever in your punches and kicks, that sucker is coming down ceiling beam or not.

I have mine strapped to a steel girder in my basement with heavy duty winch strap.

I've knocked it down 3 times now. :(

Time for steel chain and I'm wary of that because a chain is only as strong as it's weakest link.

anyway, those screws are gonna tear the wood and your bag is gonna fall...just like when you reached puberty haw haw haw :p

hey ... both iron and the new guy should let us know how long they last. report it if they make it through a couple training sessions and then again in a couple weeks or so.

I decided to rehang up my heavy bag. Before I had it hanging from the ceiling rafters.Whenever I would hit it everything was OK but when I would kick it I could hear the ceiling rafters move & also hear some of my upstairs neighbor's furniture shake. So I decided to drop the bag to where now it is on the ground. It is so tall that I can still hit it at face level but now the ground is supporting it instead of the ceiling rafters.I use the ropes just to keep it from tipping over & I use the other smaller heavy bag to keep it from shifting to much. It's not a pretty setup but it works.
