I can't wait to see how they pull of Frank Miller's Sin City from the comic books.

Apperantly, Good ol' QT has his hands in that cookie jar... see? (http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/sin_city/)
It looks good though.

No mention of QT there.

Visually it looks amazing. I hear they used the same effect techniques that went into that "Sky Captain" movie. This stroy looks a little more up my alley so I'm looking forward to this movie.

my wifes' brother is going to flip. Not only is he a huge Frank Miller fan, but the guy in that preview lives here in uptown in minneapolis. Apparently he and my wife's brother used to cross paths a lot.

Well, I was worried they'd lose the only part of the comic that had any charm for me whatsoever - Frank Miller's art. But, it appears that they're trying to integrate it in there with stills and animation. Still, it's just going to be redundant since the drawn stuff isn't offering any new information from the live-action.

A real waste of time, money and effort, as far as I can see. Plus, the ridiculously misogynistic/S&M enthusiast tone comes off a lot more creepy when it's presented in live action. In ink it seemed like self parody. Here it seems genuinely fu(ked in the head.

No mention of QT there.

Tarantino is directing one scene of the movie for $1, in repayment for Rodriguez doing the musical score for Kill Bill (also for $1).
