Does anyone here know a wing chun SiFu named Sonny G. Whitmore?

I'm new to this whole forum posting thing but I'm not exactly new to the wing chun system. Training in the system for only a few years now, I've heard a lot and seen a lot. So I was wondering...whatever happened to Sonny Whitmore? It is rumored that he left William Cheung's association because of some difficulties he was having with the other members. I heard he left and started training under someone else. Is this true? I also heard he lost his school a few years back. Is this true too? Last I heard, he was teaching in the New York City area. If anyone can tell me anything at all please let me know. Thanks.

Sifu Whitmore is teaching a small group in New Jersey.
He also teaches seminars for his student Randy Koller in penn.
He was my first Wing Chun Sifu.He opened the doors for me.I have nothing but respect for him.
I am sure there are people who don't feel the same way.
