if i've got full range of motion in my elbow but it hurts a bit when its fully contracted or extended, what could be wrong with it? it doesn't hurt when i exercise, for example with push ups, but when i gently extend it fully or contract it fully i get a pain right in the joint. i don't feel anything slip (like it would if the tendons were inflamed) and its not too much of a bother but i've had it for a couple of weeks now and its not showing any signs of going away. i've rested it and iced it but that hasn't helped. just seems like a bit of an odd niggle.

if it's in the joint, it could be bursitis. my tendons around my elbows always used to hurt. i take that glucosamine/chondroiton/MSM complex and it's helped a lot. rest is a GREAT idea in the beginning of an injury. if it keeps on, go see an acupuncturist. it has done wonders for the joint problems i've had.

cool! its started to feel a bit better over the last couple of days for some reason, but if it comes back i'll go see a acupuncturist.

cheers

yeah funny enough i think it was push ups that sorted it out! we did a load in class on thursday - more than i've done in ages and it's seemed to have worked the niggle out

i had a huge goose egg of a bruise just below my elbow from catching a roundhouse. i rubbed so much jow into it and it stayed there and hurt. one night i decided to hit it every chance i got. i blocked a (odd enough) roundhouse with that spot and it broke up the fluid that had collected there. glad to hear you're feeling better.
