Ego never says "ha" in his posts. He never uses all lower case, like you have in several recent posts. He never uses multiple punctuation, like you have in several recent posts. Not to mention that your "voice" is abundantly clear.

Once again, you're an idiot Eyebrows. No-one's "hacked" anything here. BRF certainly hasn't, so why would the mods care who he/she is? The only one who appears to have cracked anything is you cracking Ego's account. I say this because when he's on, or when you're pretending to be him, you both deny that it's actually you posting. Therefore, assuming that Kelvin were actually telling the truth, if a mod were to track the IP of any one of the posts you've made it would seem that you'd cracked his account.

Anyway, most authorities probably couldn't care less that someone had cracked someone else's online forum account.

Rather than sort it all out, for which they do not have the time, they may decide to just ban everyone involved. From an unattached point of view, detractors might sound even more threatening than the trolls.

Think of it like a new sheriff in town, setting up a speed trap at a popular intersection where everyone speeds.

First of all, we have a much larger forum here than russbo. I heard that when BL went on, Doc had only banned one person prior to her. We've banned dozens. While the BL controversy raged over the last week, we did some other banning that were not so blatent. Our general policy on banning is to encourage freedom of speech, which is to say that I might not agree with what you say, but I'll defend your right to say it. Of course, blatent porn and attacks are bannable offenses. But BL's case was borderline, as are some of the other members that are being accused of being trolls as well as the accusers. Just as in our society, borderlines tend to fall in the cracks and stay there. They know how to push buttons to get attention, but they often don't commit crimes that are overt.

Now, I'm not saying that Doc's forum is any less than ours - it's a great forum, just different. I think it's kinda funny that she went there after here, actually. From now on, I can say my 'little disciple bro' had to take my sloppy seconds. :eek: Nevertheless, we didn't dump BL there - it's a free internet, she went on her own accord. Ironically, I saw Doc in SF just before he left for Shaolin this summer and the subject of BL came up. The next time we get together, I'm sure we'll have a good joke over it, assuming we remember...

If you have some moral indignation over the forum, well, that's just silly. It's a web forum. I'm sure that there's some other situation that deserves the attention of your indignation much more than we do. :p

No MK, sorry to disappoint there but no doubt anyone who plans to come here for training, ans especially on a work visa will benifit from her sharing her experiences on it.
The reason it relates to both gongfu and shaolin is that it was her pursuit of both that took her there.

PS : Gene should be home in the next day or so, but give him a chance to unpack and catch a few zzzz s. I'd say a report sometime nxt week is reasonable.

that Michelle is alot more lucid and onto it than I'm sure any of you who trolled on her would care to admit. 7 or so weeks out of work, several airtickets / hotels etc later ( and remember she's on a teachers wage ) , carrying 70 kgs of luggage with her 45 -6 kg frame all over the country side with rudimentary language skills at best, still trains whenever possible, still studies and she's still going strong. Not bad for someone who apparently has no defence skills and unsequitous thought patterns.

BTW :- visa situation still not resolved but with luck tommorow it ends .

BL has sent more pictures via email, so we gave her an official cease and desist yesterday. We've also set the email server so that it automatically forwards her emails to a cache so we don't have to see them, but they are on file if need be. We have a standard procedure for suspicious snail mail on handling and filing. This is the first time we've had to establish one for email.

We receive a lot of strange mail. I beleive that Chinese martial arts can be the razor's edge. It is a source of power, but that power can be easily misused, misunderstood and perverted, so we get a lot of people who've been cut by that razor. We've received some full-on manifestos. We had one person who used to write us after every issue and give a page-by-page review, and then lecture us on how we should include more asian femme fatales. We had one just last month who sent back the issue with comments and corrections written throughou the whole issue in different color pens. I prefer the people who actually read the magazine. ;)
