Back in the 60's William Shatner cut an album that taught a generation not to buy albums from TV celebrities.

Now it's the 00's, and Ben Fold has teamed with Shatner... along with Aimee Mann, Joe Jackson, and Henry Rollins...

You gotta hear track 10 with Henry Rollins. You can hear the whole thing free at the site above.

Unbeleivable. Give me your agonizer, I need more cowbell...

Lucy in the sky with diamonds. Unreal. What was the good Captain on?

I reckon that version of "Common People" rocks. I always liked Ben Folds anyway, but bringing Shatner on board for that song was genius. Works well IMHO.

Bill Shatner is the MAN!
I'm gonna burn one down with Captain Kirk before he passes away.

It's got Henry Rollins! And they don't mention it on the site, but the track with Rollins on it also has the guitarist from King Crimson.

No, the other guitarist from King Crimson. :D Adrian Belew.

Robert Fripp's solo on Brian Eno's "Baby on Fire" would choke out Adrian Belew's solo on the Talking Heads' "Born Under Punches (The Heat Goes On.)"

But both of them would choke out anything that cokehead dipsh!t Eddie Van Halen ever did.

Edit - I am 1337-nurdtard of folks who consider "High Fidelity" a documentary about their lives. **** this post was sad.

I saw King crimson live a few years ago for the Vrooom tour. front row. Fripp was playing a Chapman stick for most of the show. really incredible to watch.

CSN, you should change your status line to '1337 nurdtard'.

there is a saying about Shatners and Nimoys musical efforts.

"set your cd player on stun!"
