Body structure is everything in fight.

Tai Ji: circles and ball, Chan Si (silk reeling).

Ba Gua: spiraling around the body. Ruo Xuen Jin (spiraling).

Xing Yi: straight from the center line. Zi Jin and Ruo Xuen.

Jiujitsu: block, control, throw and submission. A circle theory.

BJJ: Grappling excels punches and kicks. All fights go to a clinch and to the ground. Ground fights excel standing up. All fights end on submission on the ground.

Mount, passing guard, arm bar, etc.

1) structure for grappling.

2) structure for throwing.

3) structure for ground entanglements with limbs.

If there is no structure, there is no fight. CMA called it postures or stances. We pratice with standing in the same structure for a while. It is called Zhuang Gong.

Do you study or practice body structure in your school of MA?

Any comment on the theory and practice?
