Nice pics GDA. My parents used to have a ginger shepherd. Not the usual shepherd yellow (more orange) and with no black at all. It was in her lineage. The breeders wanted to destroy her because it was unusual. All their other shepherds have been the usual black and yellow. I don't often see all black sheps, but it looks good.

I have to confess... Those are my sister in laws animals. She brought them out for a children's function for the school district she works for. As for the goat, he doesn't come when called, so I suppose not.

Here however, is my dog Orion. I didn't name him that, he was adopted with that name. I mostly call him Ryan, or Hey You.

He is a border collie, queensland heeler mix. Don't ask how, I don't know.

yeah all black isn't common but it isnt real rare either. the weird thing is that satan's dad ... well this is satans dad (http://users.1st.net/abaddon/satan/snow.jpg). his name is snow. i have pics of all his brothers and sisters too ... all the normal saddle back black and brown. it's also weird that pretty much everything i own is big and black. i think i may be compensating for something.

is he holding a stay in that pic or does he just happen to be layin there?

i know all about adopting animals with names already too. same thing with magic ... he was adopted with that name, but he's still the pimpest cat in the whole world. he certainly doesn't qualify for the smartest, but you wont meet another cat that rolls like magic. i need to get a better pic of him up here if i can .... he's about 20lbs or more of pimp.

my recent kittens screwed up my theme too. i had diabolous, magic (still a little evil sort of), satan, and dagon. then we ended up keeping the one kitten we were cat sitting, celeste, and then we got 3 more and i only named one. the two black ones are leda and loki and adora's gray one is jenna heart pink.

Bah. Half of OUs team is texan.
I guess I gotta at least give you guys credit for really knowing where to pull the talent from.
:p

Edit: You also gotta take into consideration that we have Wack ass mack brown as a head coach...
Your cat would do a better job. Or your daughter. Or the dog. Even your spinkler.

"OU is 50% Texas players, but Texas is 100% Texas players."

Exactly. So every starter on the field is texan. :p
Trade coaches and see what would happen...

As soon as Mack Brown is gone, UT will win.

As soon as Mack Brown is gone, UT will win. The coach doesn't throw interceptions, miss tackles, and fumble the ball.

Do you also blame the corner when a boxer loses?

Meat Shake
10-27-2004, 08:47 AM
A boxer isnt throwing punches and combos constantly dictated by the corner.

MasterKiller
10-27-2004, 08:55 AM
Have you ever played organized football?

The corner developes teh strategy for the fighter. They tell him in which rounds to do what (be more aggressive, use more jabs, change the pace, etc...) That's why it's called coaching.

Meat Shake
10-27-2004, 09:36 AM
Thats fairly less specific than calling plays.
The only way to equate the two was if the corner called every single combo and every single defense.

MasterKiller
10-27-2004, 09:43 AM
Not true. The reason I asked if you ever played organized football was because the players are allowed an immense range of freedoms during gameplay. The middle linebacker reads the offense and checks off the rest of the players, calling audibles and making adjustements before the ball is snapped. The QB does the same thing--reads the defense, makes adjustments according to what he sees the defense doing. The center can call alignment shifts for the offensive line....the DBs adjust the coverage schemes depending on the lineup of the offensive backs and the receivers....

The game is very much alive. Players aren't robots. They make many decisions during the game independent of the coaches, many of which can determine the outcome of a game.

man i cant wait to get this most recent roll of film developed.

i got a picture last night of adora sleeping on the couch with her kitten jenna (the gray one) sleeping with her. this would normally be kinda cute, but jenna was sleeping on adora's head. laid clear across her face and adora is dead asleep.

Meat Shake

"laid clear across her face and adora is dead asleep."

Hey dude, just a word of warning, but be very careful to keep an eye on that. Im not sure just how small adora is from the picture, but when the cat gets a little bit bigger it can smother her while she is sleeping. There have been numerous intances of infants being suffocated by cats who were just laying with their owners, and I wouldnt wish that on anybody.

MK - yes Ive played organized football. Being given a play is much more structured though. There is room to do what you want, but its still more or less the equivelant of a ring guy calling out combos the whole time and the other ring guy calling defences. The timing, footwork, etc is still controlled by the boxer, but that is the only way it would be comprable to football.
:p
